Write About A Photograph That Is Meaningful To You

 I chose this photograph that my mother took to me one day when I came to my home with a headache. It was one day after school, I felt so bad that I went to bed. It seems that at that moment our little dog Melody came into the room and lay down next to me. My mother says that she came uo to see how I felt and that she saw us so comfortable, that she took that photo of us.

This photo is special to me because I feel that it represents fidelity and unconditional love. Characteristics very difficult to find and even more difficult for a photo to capture them. Melody always went everywhere with my mother, but at that moment, when I felt bad, Melody was with me. She was very attentive to our emotions, she knew when we needed containment or company.

Melody passed away 4 years ago, October 25 will mark 5 years of death. Unfortunately she left my side two days before my birthday, I still can't believe how the years go by and her departure still hurts me. She was extraordinary, I know we all say this about our pets, but she climbed manual stairs, jumped on tambourines, liked to eat fruits and vegetables and she really ate our homework!

I just hope she´s in a better place.

I remember this photograph with great sadness, but also with a lot of love <3

    this world would be definitely a worst place without dogs, it's so sad that we can't live our whole life with them

    Hi Jazmin! I think dogs and animals in general are most of the times better than humans, and your Melody is the proof of that. I'm sure that she is in a very beautiful place, and taken care of you from there <3

    Dogs are just amazing, such gentle creatures that can make our lives infinetly better, im sure Melody lived a life of joy and pure love by your side.

Where I come for?

Currently I live in Santiago. I have lived here since 2022. I decided to come here to study away from my family, to be an independent person. To live in Santiago has been a big challenge, because I didn´t know anyone in that city. However, I don´t regret coming to live here, because I have learned to manage the money and solve my problems alone. When I am finished studying, I would like to come back to live in Curico and to be able to practice my profession close to the people I love. I often miss my family, my pets and the tranquility of my city, but I am afraid of missing my freedom and the new people I have met in this big city.
